The Times in publishing the above, wherein one branch of the truly virtuous Prohibition party leaps onto the frame of the other with brotherly zest, feels warranted in stating what is understood to be the fact, that the four factional statesmen pointedly alluded to by our interviewer are: (1) Rev. George Morris, editor of the California Voice; (2) Will D. Gould of Los Angeles, the argumentative toro perro from wayback; (3) Capt. A.

D. Wood, the able editor of The Censor, and (4) J. II. Blanchard, the well-known patent-law statesman of Downey block. Another fact may be appropriately pointed out here; Both of the papers referred to the California Voice and the Censor are, it is said, edited by naturalized Englishmen, and are in favor of the Democratic doctrine of free trade.
