The DAR fashion show, its annual fund-raising event, will be held at noon today in the garden of Mrs. Gary Myers, 1615 Harrow Place, Newport Beach. The fashion show will follow a Bicentennial spring luncheon. Tickets are $5 and all proceeds will benefit the chapter's obligations, which include aid to American Indians, grammar school history contests, DAR Good Citizen contests and other projects. Several local shops are participating in the fashion show.

Engagement Announced for Sy Devore's Daughter The engagement of Miss Lisa Ann Devore, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sy Devore who lived in Beverly Hills, to Donald Brockway Wildman, has been announced by the bride stepmother, Mrs. Robert Brunson of Beverly Hills. Miss Devore attended the University of Arizona where she was affiliated with Delta Delta Delta and is a graduate of the Brooks College of Long Beach with a degree in interior designing.

The future bridegroom is a candidate for graduation in June from Cal State Long Beach. In the fall he will study: at San Diego State. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mrs. Mary Brockway Wildman of Big Bear Lake, formerly of Los Angeles, and Donald D. Wildman of Inglewood.

Wildman is a manufacturers representative with R. A. Trabert Inglewood. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Dr. Alvia Brockway, who was a former chief of staff of the Orthopaedic Hospital, and the late Mrs.

Brockway, who was the founder and past president of the League for Crippled Children and was a former Times Woman of the Year. The bride-elect's father was the owner of Sy Devore's Victoria Silby will provide background piano music for professional models and also for members of the organization. The Lupus chapter's benefit luncheon and fashion show will begin at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Peek's Family Colonial Terrace Room, 7801 Bolsa Westminster. Tickets are $2.50 and reservations can be made through the City of Hope Lupus Thrift Shop, 2808 W.

Lincoln Ave. All proceeds will go to a special research program on Lupus Erythematosus being conducted at the City of Hope. (Lupus Erythematosus is an inflammatory disease of the connective tissues.) After the luncheon, members will model their own fashion creations. They also will sell boutique items they have made, and there will be a drawing for two handmade quilts. The Lupus chapter of Orange County, founded two years ago, has more than 100 members.

They have raised more than $25,000 for the Lupus research program. The chapter's next meeting is at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Community Room of Republican Savings Loan, 2400 E. 17th Santa Ana. More information is available by calling the Thrift Shop, Tuesday through Saturday, between 10 a.m.
