As the complainant, Small said the twenty-seven other persons, claiming to have been locked out of their jobs in a recent dispute between C.I.O. and A.F.L. units of cleaners and dyers, invaded his office and collectively demanded relief. Small said he refused to deal with them collectively and that they declined to leave until he called police. He said he had told them he would consider their individual applications for relief.

HOMER By Appointment from 10 A.M. has been indorsed by Colleges, Christian Science practitioners, doctors, lawyers, dentists, and public speakers. Now at Hotel Teris. MUtual 3331 1254 West Sixth Street, Loi Angelet SELECTINC A DENTIST Now, before your teeth cause pain or ill health, is the time to determine the method of selecting your dentist. Particular people should see at least two regular patients of any dentist they are considering.

Names of my regular patients will be mailed, on receipt of a stamped envelope. WORTH-WHILE ADVICE To find out what is really needed: (whether or not one's teeth should be saved or extracted, type of ap-pliance, kind of materials, hygiene and diet), it is essential to have en examination and the recommendations of a good dentist, which may add years of health and happiness to the life ofa patient. Accurate Dianaotit it the most difficult and valuable dental service rendered aside from charity or a trivial courtesy, it incurs an obligation just as definite as does a tall upon your physician or attorney. SATISFACTION DISSATISFACTION Even the best dental work may or may not be satisfactory, due to the particular viewpoint of some patients and the natural harmony or disharmony between the patient and his particular dentist. Three common causes of dissatisfaction ire: needless extraction of teeth that could have been successfully treated; insertion of ill-fitting dentures or bridges; and shopping or bargain hunting.

DENTAL CRIPPLES Before having teeth removed, remember: that plates or dentures at best are not like good natural teeth. It should also be remembered: that many patients who have had ill their teeth out still have their iches, ind that too much or too little bone removal will injure the subsequent fit of denture or bridgework. Do not permit any dentist to remove ill of your teeth unless he believes in treating dead teeth when idvisale, and then onlv permit one or two of the worst offenders to be removed, and wait for symptoms of the expected benefits before having the rest extracted. Patients often feel better after a tooth is treated and retained, the same as if it had been extracted. Extraction often brings regret.

RELATOR DENTURE TECHNIC (Four Dimensional) In addition to esthetics ind refined impressions, plates or dentures can be further improved by constructing them on i measuring ind recording instrument known as Homer's Relator (that has been indorsed by Harvard and McGill Universities ind is now used by some of the world's leading dentists) which can be adjusted to the up and down, right, left, ind forward biting movements of each patienr. Biting movements ire not only different for each patient, but also vary in angle on the right and left side of each iaw. Relator technique balances biting pressure on the gums. This will lessen tipping also the consequent annoyance of food getting under the lower denture. BRIDGE RESTORATIONS Where enough roots remain in either jaw, Precision Bridge Reconstructions, fixed or removable, are superior to dentures.

Clasps should be used with caution on partial dentures, or removable bridges, became they often wear cavities in, and loosen the anchor teeth. THE BEST MATERIALS While chemists and metallurgists have contributed several good substitutes: Platinum, Gold and Baked Porcelain are still the finest materials for dentures, bridges and inlays. Too many dentists make a practice of filling teeth with synthetic porcelain (mixed like cement) and too many jacket crowns are mtde of the same material. SPACES BETWEEN ADULT FRONT TEETH OR IRREGULARITIES Can be eliminated by dentists who understand the natural sockets surrounding teeth. Adults, as well as children, may have their teeth straightened.

PYORRHEA BLEEDING GUMS Pyorrhea ind trench mouth can often be successfully treated they are occasionally found in people under 20 yean of ige. ABSCESSED TEETH Many dead, abscessed, or badly decayea teeth can be successfully treated. It is often possible to save your teeth without sacrificing your health. ETHICAL FEES Low or standardized fees are not consistent with the highest quality of professionil services. No two dentures, jacket crowns or other dental operations cm be properly made in the same amount ot time each individual, mouth requires a different amount of thought end time to do what it best; therefore, I cannot in fairness to prospective patients, whom I have not leen, give infor-nation or estimates by phone.
